Dan Beard (bass) Dan Beard is DeltaCappella's basso profundo. He has been recorded singing a low F two-and-a-half octaves below middle C, and elephants in the Memphis zoo were stirred from their slumber. In this life before DeltaCappella, Dan conducted numerous workshops for the Barbershop Harmony Society throughout the country and was director of his own award-winning quartet. Dan currently teaches Orff music in the Memphis City School system.
